About

My work uses the sonic arts to confront entrenched ideologies and beliefs.

Incorporating sound, composed music, moving image, sculpture, writing and performance, I create immersive experiences which are designed to challenge perceptions and stimulate empathy for the counterargument.

I am interested in Gesamtkunstwerk, or ‘total artworks’ which encompass all the senses.

My approach is informed by my background in corporate materials innovation; and experiences of growing up in Belfast followed by working and travelling worldwide, often in remote and challenging environments. Exploring the intersection between culture, arts, technology and science, I believe that the creative process is universal regardless of domain – that the most innovative artists have interests in science and vice versa.
